Interviewed for DS position at Doordash. Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and we set up an initial call. We had a great conversation and he helped me set up next round. Same as all other reviews mentioned. 1 hour virtual interview with 30 mins Product case study and 30 mins SQL. I was given a standard question for case study and instead of jumping to answers interviewer asked me a bunch of questions and helped me develop my thoughts on how to approach the business case. At every point I was continuously asking for feedback from the interviewer on whether I was on the right track or not and I got positive affirmations every time. Not at one point in time I was let known that I might be going offtrack or not thinking right. Was quite happy with how it went. Next 30 mins was SQL and I solved all 4 questions in 20 minutes with 5 minutes to spare as the first 5 mins were introduction. Interviewer was quite helpful and accepted all my solutions in first go. I was a 100% sure that everything went great and I would be called for an onsite. But quite the contrary I was rejected and not taken onto onsite round even after flawless interviews. Due to their policy of not sharing feedback I would never know why I was rejected. I would have given a Neutral review but it was completely thrown away by getting rejected and not getting an feedback I had to change it to negative experience for me.
