      Entretien

      I had a good experience with DoorDash up until the end of the process which was very disappointing. After my final round interview, I was not told what the timeline would be to hear back from them which I probably should have asked in the moment. However, we were already over time and I assumed it is standard for the recruiter to follow up. I reached out to the recruiter 5 days later noting that I had received another offer and wanted to know when I could expect an update from them. I received no response so I followed up again 2 days later with polite urgency to the recruiters and the team I had interviewed with. An hour later I received a generic no-reply rejection which didn't even list the title in the email. It looked like what they would send after the phone screen round. It was very disappointing that zero feedback/explanation was provided and given that I had 3 rounds of interviews and put a lot of work into a two-part project that required a slide deck. I also was a referral from a DoorDash employee. I found this response to be super unprofessional and dismissive. Overall, it's a shame because I had great chemistry with the people I met with and was confident I would be fit based on company culture and my background. I wouldn't be proud to work for a company with that kind of disregard for potential candidates.
