Fairly standard interview process. It involved multiple stages of interviews, starting with broad phone and video conversations around past work and working style. Then moving into virtual "onsite" including portfolio presentation with an app heuristic evaluation, product/design thinking exercise, and product collaboration. The negative experience was the individual interviews felt forced. Most of the interviewers seemed uninterested in talking even during a working session, many of the responses felt scripted and it came off as them not listening. Secondly, after each step of the process, I explicitly asked for feedback so that going into the next stage of the interview process but even after asking both the hiring manager and the recruiter for feedback I received not even a response to the question. Ultimately very standard process but no one seemed like they wanted to be working there, let alone interviewing others to work with them.

Call with recruiter, then a call with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was distracted and seemed to barely pay attention and then I found out I didn't get it.
