I applied on LinkedIn, someone reached out to me via email. Scheduled a phone screen, followed by a video chat with a director, then an assignment, then a final interview conducted over video chat as well. The final video interview was a little disorganized, and way too long. A total of 3 hours! Throughout my interview process, it went pretty seamless except until after. They ghosted me for a week or two, & then they rejected me on the phone. I wouldn’t be mad except they told me they “moved forward” with another candidate & nothing was wrong with me, just that they picked someone else. BUT guess what, they were reposting the same position the whole time they were ghosting me, and also kept re-posting the position after they rejected me. I am sorry but I cannot respect any company who is unable to tell me the truth of why I wasn’t hired, then follows by reposting the same position and lying. Terrible!
