The entire process was hilariously bad. I walked in, filled out an application and without reading it they immediately said I had the job. It was weird but I was excited. They sat me down, had me fill out some tax paperwork and then asked about scheduling. I mentioned that I had a primary job and this one was simply secondary, so I could only work weekends. The manager became pretty irate after that and from that point forward it was extremely unpleasant. After sitting in the store for almost an hour filling out their massive employee survey she finally told me that my schedule just wouldn't work and that I would need to work weekdays. I finally let her know we would be parting ways. Extremely unprofessional, will never apply for a Dollar General again.

Great place to work at for first time job. I was asked about being able to get to work ok? If I was able to work any time and if I could pick up and lift up to 50 pounds as well. Quick and easy and started within two days.
