1. Recruiter contacted and set up 30 minute interview. The interview went well and I checked all the boxes in terms of experience , skills etc . 2. He said he will work with the team to set up the next round . 3. 2 days later recruiter sent an email stating "team thinks you have too many years of experience for this position . Please keep checking our career page for a more senior role " Felt this was discriminatory to deny an interview based on extra number of years of experience one has . To me , this appeared as a clear case of ageism .
