      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Distech Controls (Brossard, QC) en févr. 2024

      Entretien

      Extremely unprofessional process. I originally spoke with recruiter in September, where we decided not to move forward because I wasn’t able to work remotely and the commute was too far. Fast forward to December, I reached out to the recruiter because I noticed the posting was still up and I was willing to commute. No response … fast forward to February, I reached out to another recruiter and LinkedIn, and miraculously the original recruiter reached out. I was then told that the interview would have to be in person. The manager pushed the interview by 30 minutes, when I was already on my way there. Then, at the end of the hour long interview (when I had told the recruiter that I was only able to stay for 1 hour due to another meeting), I was told that there would be an assessment that I had to complete right away. I advised them of my time limit and asked if it was possible to email it to me to do at home. They said no. They proceeded to provide me with an old, filthy laptop that hardly worked… I was unable to complete the assessment as I had to leave for another meeting. I advise them that I was not able to complete it due to the slowness and glitches of the laptop and then I would gladly finalize it at home if they would kindly email it to me. The hiring manager advised me that she would make the exception to email it to me… Not only did she never email it to me, I never even heard back from the company. What a joke. So unprofessional. Waste of my time.
