I applied being a university student hoping I could possibly snag a job at a company whose product I've used for years. The review process took well over 3-4 weeks due to the office being on holiday I was told, but a month was an abnormally long time for a review. I have an inkling of suspicion that they gave me the interview out of pity/as an apology for making me wait, but I highly doubt it. The interview went I presumed well, with fairly standard logistical questions and standard conversation about interests, experience, and similar topics. After about 3-4 days, i had been notified that I had not progressed to the next round of interviews, to which I was disappointed but not suprised. Overall I don't regret applying, however their notification process for hiring is either relatively quick or dreadfully slow. Hopefully in a couple of months, I can reapply again.
