I experienced an upbeat and informative meeting this morning with sales manager Jeff Ruby which was a breath of fresh air. Ordinarily, I would have run like my hair was on fire when I saw that it was a group interview but the relaxed conversation surprised me and that is really hard to do. I didn't plan to like the position as much as I do, and now I feel like I have to put on my boxing gloves and fight for this job! I can't tell you how exciting it is for an analytical person like myself to hear that I don't have to manufacture heaps of compassion to succeed at a sales job. I can do what comes naturally, research, find solutions and close the deal. This is the beginning of the process, one that I hope results in an offer.
