I applied online at the store. Within a week I was contacted by HR and was scheduled for an interview conducted by the Assistant Manager of the store. The interview was very relaxed and informal. The interview consisted of basic questions about background, college major, interests, etc. I felt feeling pretty positive about the interview and within the next week I was offered the job. My perception is that if you look fashionable and have good communication skills it is very easy to secure a job at Dillard's, especially if it is before the holiday season.

I did an application online got a call from a manager a couple days later. Went in for an interview. Met with two people the same day. A couple days later I got an email with an offer.

The store manager was kind and understanding. The interview was quick and easy. He was very willing to give opportunities even with little to no experience with opportunities to earn commissions and learn from others.

This was a four step interview process held with four different ppl. Very easy & straight to the point. Description of job was explained very well. The interview process was unusual than most interviews, but it not difficult at all.
