1.Screening Call with a Recruiter - 30 minutes Focused on understanding why you applied for the role, your background, and your salary expectations. 2.First Interview with Team Lead - 1 hour Discussed past project experiences, technology competencies, and evaluated behavioral aspects. 3.Take-Home Assessment Included medium-level LeetCode-style questions. 4.System Design Interview - 1 hour 30 minutes Conducted as a whiteboard session with two senior architect-level engineers. They provided a system requirement and asked for a system design proposal. Overall Comment: I am very happy with the entire interview process. It was well-planned, straightforward, and transparent. Despite the holiday season, everything was set up within a three-week period. All the DigitalRoute team members I interacted with were highly professional. The recruiter even called me personally (despite me being based in a South Asian country) to explain the reasoning behind the final decision.

HR experience was the worst and unprofessional at the same time. The HR even missed the meeting, and then I reminded him by email, and then he showed up after 15 minutes. When asked for feedback after the process, the HR was not responsive. So, I personally felt it is a waste of time to spend time on 3 to 4 interviews, including coding tests. The potential employee invested many hours in meetings in their busy working life, and you as an employer don't have a few minutes to give feedback. It shows their unprofessional mentality. The meeting with the manager was good. He knew his area very well.
