J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Dialpad (Denver, CO) en mars 2026
Entretien
1st interview with a dedicated recruiter to the sales engineering department which shows smart alignment and thinking. She asked the standard open-ended questions to gauge experience relevant to the role, covered the process steps, shared helpful information on Dialpad's trajectory, current market position, culture, etc. The 2nd interview with the hiring manager was fantastic. He spoke to challenging day-to-day scenarios, excitement about wins and the nature of his team that felt real. Many hiring managers don't show transparency about internal or role-specific roadblocks/challenges, he did. Outside of standard role specific questions he offered great insight on his take regarding the competitive landscape, what's good, but could be better, the team dynamics and showcased strong leadership throughout the interview. While he transparently shared the role was filled just a day prior, he was hopeful HR would approve more head count and felt my resume was a strong potential fit. He not only offered fantastic advice when I asked in terms of Dialpad, but also tangible things I could do to stand out. I was VERY impressed with him and what I learned about Dialpad, that's the type of company I would love to work for.

5 rounds - phone screen, behavior interviews with multiple team members, panel interview. Ghosted by recruiting team and only received a survey email to ask for my feedback. Disappointed by the lack of professionalism.

Great interview process, easy to talk with HR and the hiring manager. Informal in the sense it is not overly structured and geared towards conversation and getting to know the person.
