We have streamlined our processes in light of the changing conditions in Australia, and have had to shift to a more nimble and responsive approach in assessing a candidates fit for DiUS. The aim was to create a quicker and more efficient process, although we appreciate there were gaps with technical assessment. We have recently incorporated pair programming and white-boarding, along with our traditional code tests, and feel like there is a range of quality assessment practices now which also takes into account an individual's experience and skill level.
