Recruiter reached out, had a quick chat, he set up the call with the team lead. The call with the team lead went well, he explained the product, projects, role, and I discussed my background. At the end of the call, I was told I will be asked about my availability for a live coding session by the end of the day. I emailed him the next day, no response. I reached out to the recruiter a week later, I was told he'll get back to me in a week. A week passes by, and I'm writing this review on a friday after telling the recruiter that I will be moving forward with other opportunities that I have. Terrible behavior from both folks involved. The team lead in particular strongly suggested that he likes my background and he would be setting up the call. Why lie? I guess that shows the culture of the company. Avoid!
