J'ai passé un entretien chez Dehns (Londres, Angleterre)
Entretien
Standard questions, but interview felt incredibly rushed as if they had already made up their mind and were taking my interview out of courtesy. HR takes ages to get back to you with generic feedback. Focus on the other firms and don't waste your time.

Submitted a CV and cover letter, A month later I was asked to complete a psychometric test. Another month after that (January), I was asked to do another online task involving writing a description of an invention within 45 minutes. I was then invited to a recruitment day in London in February.
I was one of 15 who attended, and the rumour was that we were vying for 2 roles across the firm. The full day involved (a) a technical interview with two attorneys for which we were given 30 minutes to read a patent specification before a discussion, (b) a group patent drafting task, (c) additional writing tasks (grammar check and writing an email complaint, pen-on-paper style) and (d) a lunchtime chat with current staff. We were told we'd hear back within a couple of weeks, but myself and another candidate who stayed in touch were still waiting a month later.
The people I met were lovely, but overall I felt that there was very little respect for the candidate's time. Asking for a minimum of eight hour's commitment for a 1 in 7/8 chance of employment is already a little annoying, but the lack of response after promising that we'd hear back in two weeks felt very disrespectful. A shame because, again, the people I met during the recruitment day came across as so kind and welcoming.
