J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Deel (Guaçuí) en mars 2024
Entretien
First, there was an initial interview in which I was asked general questions about my past professional experiences and my familiarity with concurrency issues. Then, the next step was a technical take-home assessment. I was given a repo and some functional and non-functional requirements. I had to finish the exercise in up to two days.
The feedback for my submission was subpar. I had no opportunity to explain my decisions for the architecture. It sounded like they just ran a battery of tests against my API and was a binary decision. A lot of the extra effort to build a thoughtful architecture, e2e and unit tests, load tests, and DSL was ignored.

It was a 1.5-hour conversation. Everything felt pretty easy until we went deeper into some SQL topics. Overall, the offer felt quite low it seems like they’re aiming for cheaper labor.
I just met with HR. The lady was not friendly, that's why I felt a bit stressed. The job interview was not conducted professionally. The person I spoke to wasn't knowledgeable enough.
Interview with this Talent Lead, excellent process tho.
Code challenge build something simple and prove your skills
Technical interview wasn’t what I expected. Asked more about concurrency and query optimization strategies, and event driven
