I had an interview with the Legal Counsel for Israel together with the HR Manager for Israel. The interview lasted for about half an hour and covered a variety of topics. They asked me several questions relating to Israeli employment law, as well as additional questions that were more commercial in nature. The discussion was both professional and comprehensive, giving me the opportunity to demonstrate my knowledge of labor regulations, compliance requirements, and also my ability to think through broader business and commercial considerations.

I had a two-stage interview process — first with HR and then with a team member. Both interviews went well, and I was told to expect a final interview soon. However, I didn’t hear back for several weeks and had to follow up multiple times to get an update.
Eventually, I was informed that the job description had changed to a more senior role. It would have been appreciated if this change had been communicated proactively, rather than after repeated follow-ups. Additionally, there was no explanation provided for why the role shifted after two interviews, which left the experience feeling unclear and somewhat unprofessional.

Applied on LinkedIn. Within a few days, I received an email with a link to schedule an initial interview with the recruiter. Spoke to the recruiter about my work experience and a bit about the team and the position. An hour after that conversation, she emailed me saying they wanted to move forward and sent a link to schedule an interview with the senior immigration legal counsel. We spoke for about 40 minutes about my work experience and more specific legal expectations of the role. Exactly 7 days later, I received an email that I wasn't chosen to move forward to the final interview with the company's legal counsel. Both interviews were professional and the interviewers were pleasant.
