This is one of ridiculous interview processes i have ever experienced.They call it SRD(Sports recruitment day) and as per the company this is to check attitude of the candidates.First they keep you under sun playing some games which as per them will reveal the sports enthusiasm, if you have any.However, this attitude evaluation process turned out to be a nightmare for some.Running,push ups, football were the deciding games(This is so idiotic as one might me enthusiastic about cricket which also shows candidate's attitude towards sports)Keep running under the sun an this shows your attitude towards sports.
Nothing else counts(your experience, qualification etc.) for them if you can't clear the physical round which as per me seems like Karnataka police recruitment day.This interview was for an IT role and I did not understand that how this physical round can eliminate anyone.
I would not recommend this kind of interview in which the candidate is being tested against something which has nothing to do with the work he/she is going to do.
I am really disappointed as I was not at all given any chance to prove my technical skills and was rejected based on this SRD.The purpose of SRD seemed more like to bring candidates and do marketing for their product.And before scheduling the very first round of interview they should clearly tell about this pathetic recruitment process.
