J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez DealHub en janv. 2025

I was initially contacted by a recruiter regarding the CSM role. During our initial conversation, I provided an overview of my background and shared relevant anecdotes to convey my experience and felt the discussion went well. The recruiter mentioned that they'd recommend I move on to the next round, but it would be up to their client, DealHub, to reach out if they thought I could be a good fit.
After some follow-up, I was contacted by HR from DealHub for a 45-minute screening. When I went to schedule time on their calendar I realized they were based in Israel and 10+ hours ahead of me. Given the HR representative was based in Israel, I had to schedule the meeting either early in the morning (5am) or late in the evening (11pm).
I ultimately booked a meeting with the HR representative for an early morning slot, which I thought went well. They provided information about the next steps, indicating that I would proceed to the next round of interviews. However, to my surprise, I received an email informing me that they had decided to move forward with other candidates. I requested feedback but never received a response. I noticed that DealHub has been trying to fill the CSM role for quite some time and has tweaked the job description multiple times, suggesting that they may not have a clear understanding of what they are looking for. While the product seems promising, I don't have direct experience working with the software myself.

I was contacted for a short phone screening and later given an assignment designed to evaluate how candidates translate business expectations into technical solutions on the platform. While no one enjoys being rejected for a role, I genuinely appreciated the professionalism of the entire process. Yarden from HR was always available to answer questions about the assignment and was consistently supportive and responsive throughout.
What stood out most was how respectfully the process was handled. When I didn’t move forward, they didn’t just send an email they actually called. Yarden thanked me for the time and effort I put into the assignment and took the time to speak with me, which made the experience much more human.
Although I wasn’t selected, the way the team handled the process left a very positive impression. Based on my experience, it seems like a thoughtful and professional organization, and I would absolutely recommend that anyone with the right background consider applying.

The process began with a message about a senior role. After two weeks of silence, I got an apology about internal changes. Two weeks later, they reconnected. A vague HR call followed, focused on salary, later revealing the role was actually less senior.
I was invited to the office for three interviews. The hiring manager was late, unprepared, and spoke for 90% of the time. He even asked if I knew someone I was connected to on LinkedIn — a question that felt intrusive and unprofessional.
I completed a detailed home assignment, then was asked to present it live to multiple people without context. HR communication was poor throughout. After my last interview, no one told me the day was over — I left on my own with no wrap-up or follow-up.
A disorganized and disappointing process that showed little respect for candidates’ time.
