J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Datadog (Paris) en janv. 2024

Overall, the process went very smoothly, thanks to the amazing HR team. They helped a lot in getting ready and shared valuable feedback. I started every step well-prepared, thanks to them.
[STEP 1] First Contact
- 30-minute introduction with HR,
- 1 hour with 2 Product Managers,
- 30 minutes with HR to debrief and prepare for the onsite visit,
[STEP 2] Onsite (which I did on remotely)
- 1 hour of talk with an Engineering Director,
- 1 hour for a product case,
- 1 hour for an analytics test,
- 1 hour for a technical test.
[STEP 3] Fit / Team Matching
After the onsite, if the feedback was positive, you meet the people you'll potentially partner with:
- 1 hour with the manager,
- 45 minutes with the engineering manager,
- 1 hour and a half to visit the office.

I cold applied online and heard back about a week later. I then had a screener call with a recruiter who super friendly. The call didn’t require any preparation. They asked pretty straight forward questions about my experience.

1st round is a recruiter screening. typical questions asked like tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here. 2nd round is a hiring manager round to go into more detail on experience and technical background. there is a discussion about the specific product that you would own. Lastly there is a panel round with 2 behavior and 2 technical interviews with product and engineering leaders.
Straight forward process, last round consists of analytical, engineering collaboration, technical, and case study. I felt that the technical interview was easier than what I’d have thought. Case study interview feels a bit subjective since it had something to do with one of Datadog’s products. Recruitment process as a whole was transparent and I love that they give you feedback at the end.
