I applied through an employee referral program. 1. The first stage was a zoom call with a recruiter who was very transparent explaining that the position is technical and although it is not a code position, the ideal candidate should have technical skills and understand how to read and interpret code. In the end of the interview, he said that will discuss with the hiring manager but I will probably receive an email scheduling to the next stage. 2. The second stage is an interview with a TL based on behavioral questions. Afterwards, she sent a hiring exercise that the candidate has 7 days to complete. It is very technical though. After 1 week, I got an email from the recruiter saying that I did not pass to the final round. I had a positive experience by being interviewed by Datadog. It seems a very technical product and I have a feeling that you can learn a lot in this position. However, the salary is below the average for what they require (€38k).

I had a very disappointing experience with Datadog's recruitment process. After making it to the final round for a Solutions role, I later learned that recruiters had contacted former colleagues at my current company to ask for feedback about me. This information made its way back internally, putting my current job at risk. Not only is this highly unprofessional, but it also raises serious confidentiality concerns. I would caution candidates to be aware of this before applying.
