It was very long, with multiple interviews. I first had an initial phone interview screening with the hiring manager. It went well, and was told I would be scheduled for another phone interview with the three heads of the department. That also went well, and was then invited for an in-person interview. I thought it went well overall, and was given a tour of the building. The only thing about that interview was I had to call in after 2 weeks of not hearing anything, and that's when they scheduled the date and time. It was very casual and personable. I was told I would be invited in for another in-person interview to meet the director of the department in-person. Again, I had to call back after 2 weeks of not hearing anything, and then a date and time were scheduled. Again, I thought it went very well. I was told though when I left that they would call me in 1 to 2 weeks on their decision. I never heard back.
All in all, that was about a 2 month process. After talking to others who had applied to jobs at DaVita, my experience did not sound unique. I was disappointed with their lack of follow-through.
