My time was wasted doing a test that wasn't even looked at, as the interviewer mentioned that the purpose for the test was to discuss it in the second interview (as part of the interview) which didn't take place. I had an initial call and went through my background and experience. I was told I was through to the next round which involved a test to be completed before another (main) interview. I completed the test to create a test plan for a free online game, and then didn't get a response for weeks. Once I chased up I was told that the role was given to someone internally, begging the question why waste my time in the first place? In which I know the answer - poor professionalism.
