J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez DNAnexus (Prague) en juill. 2024
Entretien
The interview consist of 4 rounds. First one is just a chat with their HR about expected salary, their hybrid mode (3 days onsite a week) and your previous experience. Second round is their "home work" it's about two problems you have to solve, first was quite complex CLI app and second is medium difficulty leetcode problem. Third round you have to advocate that CLI app in front of their senior dev who (in my case) was incredibly conceited and based on his LinkedIn profile, it was his first job right after the university, I was asked many non sense questions juts to make him trust it's my source code and not chatGPT, he was absolutely not interested in a design or actually how I approached the problem, after a while we moved into live coding session, I've got really simple leetcode type problem, I clearly explained the right solution but I was told that I am expected to solve it in typescript only (that guy told me he is not able to understand C# but for the CLI app I was allowed to choose any language and I believe that for CLI app the C# is the right way to go) as he is typescript programmer. Eventually I've got a feedback from that guy that I am not good at JavaScript and that they are looking for someone very good in JavaScript, problem solving, system design absolutely doesn't matter to them, just JavaScript, I highly recommend to avoid this job in case you don't want to be a brainless delivery monkey.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Why you left your previous employer? What is you expected salary?
The interview process is ok and quite professional in general but the things are moving very slow. Besides some high level tech questions you can also have some life coding.

Pushy recruiter bugged me to talk with their manager claiming that they are extremally interested in my background. When I finally agreed on a 30-minute phone call I was not able to figure why. I am most likely not on a team they were interested in because I haven't heard from them after the first contact.
