Interviews with partner attorneys were very enjoyable. Scheduling could have gone more smoothly, as well as turnaround time after they had made their hiring decision. Any perceived deficiencies seemed to be on HR's side, but I imagine this was an isolated incident. The attorney talent and collegiality seemed top notch, and I expect HR/Recruiting typically is, too.

The external HR recruiter contacted me by phone. He was completely unaware about my profile or the current conditions of the Luxembourg labor market. He ended up promssing ridiculous things such as fast track to making PARTNER, heading a subdivision of the firm, and salary package which was unrealistic based on the current market and what the company actually offers (confirmed with a friend of mine working there). The HR guy was very pushy and clearly did not care about the applicant or the company and was out to make a sale.
