Met with my future department manager for the first interview. Very formal and structured. You could tell it was from a corporate interview guide. I've given enough of these myself to know exactly what they were looking for. Second interview was with the store manager. Very open and free flowing, allowed me to exhibit my personality. Interview was so laid back I caught myself physically going from a straight and tight posture to more of a relaxed slouch, even crossing my legs at one point. Got an offer at the end of the interview and felt great about joining the team, Obviously the interview process can change from manager to manager but the major piece of advice I could give is to just be yourself. The company really encourages individuality and a good manager builds his/her team with people from different areas and expertise. If you are not yourself then you may not be "fit" into the puzzle of a successful team even though you will be a great match and exactly what the hiring manager is looking for!

Short and Easy. Asked about availability, golf experience such as handicap, clubs, and how much I play. It was a part-time job so I didn't stress too much. It's true that I love and play golf so answers were coming from the heart and interview was more enjoyable than other places.

Asks about basic golf knowledge and retail experience. Walks you around the store to meet staff and see how you interact on the floor. As long as you’re somewhat sociable and able to speak with new people you’ll be fine.

Overall, the few questions took less than 15 minutes for both parts of the interview. One with another employee, then the next with at least an assistant manager, and the department leader on site.
