I applied for the position via their website. The Recruiter reached out to me 2 weeks later. This was followed by a video call with 2 Project Managers in similar roles. The person they originally listed on the invite ended up being different (1st red flag).
When I pressed about follow-up, it took 2 weeks for them to respond due to the Recruiter being out of office. I thought this was weird given no away message or a co-worker could of done it. When they did finally follow-up, they scheduled a half-day long panel of different interviewers. Issues the day of the panel were:
-The Recruiter changed the interview link, but forgot to send it to me. This caused a 15 minutes gap that looked like I didn't show-up. When I wrote the Recruiter, she seemed confused.
- Once again, the folks scheduled to interview were mostly out sick. Given there is a 6-hours time difference between them and me, an email would of been appreciated. I prepare my interviews based on the people who are supposed to attend.
At this point, I explained to them I'd do only the first interview and they could re-schedule the rest at a later date if they wanted to. Don't waste my time due to your bad planning.
I followed-up this morning, but highly doubt they'll respond. They provided a conditional offer, which I now plan to refuse. Well below industry standard.
