The recruiter was a pleasure to work with and very professional throughout the process. Unfortunately, my initial interview with the hiring manager did not meet the same standard. The interview was scheduled for 45 minutes but ended about 15 minutes early. The hiring manager did not turn on their camera while mine was on, appeared distracted, and was speaking to someone else in the background during the interview. Candidates are expected to be prepared and fully present, and that same expectation should apply to those conducting the interview. Overall, this did not reflect a professional interview experience.
