I was eliminated after my first "deliverable" due to grammar issues. I reviewed it and it's nearly perfect. I also ran it through several Grammar and AI checkers and was reassured that while there are minor sytylistic choices that I could change, there are no grammar issues minor or major. After being involved in the Slack channel and receiving this feedback and via others reviews, I am sure that I have dodged a bullet from this elitist corporation.

I interviewed with CroMetrics a few years ago for a Program Manager position. The initial interview went well. I moved the next step which was considered a paid interview process. Each person I corresponded with during the process was wonderful, very professional and helpful. Unfortunately, the process was going to be fairly labor intensive. It was a 10-12 hour commitment over a 2-week period. I thought I could work it out around my full-time job but in the end I decided it was too much. I wasn't comfortable working elsewhere while trying to give my full attention to my regular job. It's an interesting concept and I was certainly intrigued by the idea of getting paid for my time. I can understand why a company would want use that method to determine if someone is a good fit for the organization and the team, but I also can't see how you can be fully engaged during regular business hours, and participating in conversations over Slack, without your regular job suffering. I had to politely withdraw myself from the process. Even then, the team I dealt with was very gracious and professional. I imagine they are a great organization to work for if you are able to devote the time to their hiring process.
