I interviewed at Crenshaw Communications for the position of Account Coordinator. I met with four different people separately. The interviews were quite conversational with a few of the typical interview questions. From one person to the next, it seemed a little repetitive. I felt pretty neutral about it afterwards. I was asked if I would be willing to take a writing skills test within the next few days and I agreed.
I received the writing skills test while at work the following day at about 12:00 PM. The e-mail said I had to submit the test by 2:00 PM that same day to be considered. It completely caught me off guard! This test was several pages long and included multiple choice grammar questions, writing assignments, and current events knowledge questions. In a state of panic, I explained myself to my (then) boss and said that I needed to take a break to complete this. It took me the full two hours, and I was rushing.
After that - nothing. I am confident that I did well on this test but no one even emailed me back to say they had received it. I followed up with another email, and then a phone call, and still nothing. It was very frustrating to say the least.
