I felt the company did its best to illustrate its open door policy. When I applied for a middle management position, I received a lot of face time with the company's president and also the CEO. They were upbeat and receptive to my ideas, and in response they were frank about the challenges facing the company and how they planned to combat their perceived shortcomings.
