First, I was invited to a 30-minute recruiter call.
However, after confirming the time, the calendar invitation I received was titled “Panel Interview” and listed a 45-minute interview with the hiring manager.
I reached out to clarify whether the interview was a recruiter call or a hiring manager interview, but I never received a response. Typically, if it is a hiring manager interview, HR provides some context about the format or what to expect, but no information was shared.
Overall, the hiring process felt very confusing and lacked clear communication. During the interview itself, the conversation felt less like a discussion and more like a pressure-style interview, with many one-sided questions that seemed focused on finding faults rather than having a constructive dialogue. The overall experience gave the impression that there was little consideration for the candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
