      Entretien

      Was first contacted by a recruiter for a very brief phone interview. I was then referred over to the DM for an in person interview at the location in which I applied. DM was fresh in role as mentioned and it was easy to tell. I received an assignment to revisit the location and give my thoughts on the business with a free meal card that was given to me. In the meantime, I received late night emails over the weekend to interview with the Regional Dir and I could tell from that phone conversation with her that she was not interested. I still completed the assignment and later saw on the applicant portal that they decided not to move forward. Overall, the questions were simple. I just don’t think the regional “liked me.” They have a really great internal employee who I hope developed into the role.

      Very Postive conversation, TA gave a clear description of the job. The interviewer was very personal and took time to answer all questions I had about the position. I felt very comfortable throughout the conversation.

      Entretien

      I was contacted by email by a recruiter. She and I had a brief phone conversation, after which she set me up on a phone screen with the district manager. She asked me some things about my background and experience, and then she agreed to meet with me at the store that had an opening a week later. Mind you, I came off of my job on the road and took an extra day off to do this. We sat and talked at the restaurant and had a nice conversation/interview. It seemed almost like talking to a friend, not really an interview. She then showed me around the stock room and the retail sales floor. She introduced me to a few of their employees in the back. They were busy getting ready for inventory. She told me she really liked me and that she had one interview to do later that day, and that she would call me “next week”. Well it’s been almost 2 weeks later and I have heard absolutely nothing from her. It was such a pleasant experience, I certainly didn’t expect to be ghosted, but that’s what indeed has taken place. Totally unprofessional in my opinion.

      Recruiter, DM, RM, Regional face to face with DM. Video interview before the face to face. Store tour with overview of responsibilities and role. Team intro and very transparent with state of business.
