The job was posted on LDSjob.org, but I made personal contact by calling the company then emailing my resume to the receptionist. They were impressed enough to email me back and set up a time for an interview. I went into the interview with a panel of editors where we chatted about my skills and successes and the what the submissions editor will do. They emailed me a couple of days later letting me know I didn't get the position.
