First of all, when applying to FastTrack, it's important to be aware that you are not applying to be an employee, rather, a student who can later go on to do contract work through Cooksys IF you complete the program and find work through them.
Secondly, I took this interview online, for an online bootcamp-style program. Originally, pre-pandemic, this was an in-person program. In my case, I was applying for an online version of this program.
The interview process was simple, I got a message from the recruiter, who sent me three different evaluations.
The first one was a PI assessment, fairly simple and straightforward, especially after applying to multiple jobs.
The second one was a cognitive assessment, where I was given a time limit to questions questions concerning pattern recognition, spatial awareness, basically an IQ test.
The third one was a simple two-part coding problem which tested the basics of OOP and writing code, not complicated, and they let you choose the language from a dropdown, so you can choose the one you're most comfortable with.
After completing all of those, if selected, you are interviewed by an instructor.
