      J'ai postulé via une autre source. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Contentsquare (New York, NY) en janv. 2021

      Entretien

      First a screen by HR. After that, an interview with a team member. Then meet with hiring manager, after which I was assigned a vague project, then finally present the project to the hiring manager. The project they assigned to me didn't make too much sense - they left the directions vague, it involved reviewing a campaign they were running. Once I got into reviewing it, I saw REALLY rookie marketing mistakes that I couldn't believe. Basic SEO principles weren't followed at all. I called these out in my presentation and literally when I went back to look at their website 20 minutes after the interview, they had IMMEDIATELY taken my suggestions and implemented then. I eventually was told my presentation wasn't 'detailed enough' - despite them not specifying the level of detail they wanted in the presentation - and that's why they chose another candidate. It felt really shady to see them utilizing my work and telling me this. As a marketer I will never hire them. What was really obnoxious is that they had the nerve to send me a survey after I was rejected asking about how they could improve their interview process. Really? I should spend more of MY time to help THEM recruit better?

We will work with the appropriate team members to review our current case study prompts and presentation guidelines to better ensure that our candidates understand and are set up for success. The candidate experience surveys are sent to all candidates, regardless of the decision, as they provide very valuable insight and feedback to the TA and hiring teams so that we can provide a best in class experience.
