I was promoted from within so the process was relatively straightforward. Conversations with my line manager, and what was needed to move up to strategy director. I was able to demonstrate what I had achieved.

The initial interview was a video call with a 'head of' then interview with CEO, additional interview with ECD (due to availability) - all were questions-based. Because I was approached by a recruiter this seemed to speed up the process.
