I met with a manager and had an in-person interview. After it was over, they told me I was a great candidate and that I could expect a phone call from HR to get some additional details to get my new-hire paperwork started. The phone call was ANOTHER INTERVIEW and I was completely caught off-guard and unprepared. I don't know if this is a tactic to make sure candidates aren't just memorizing interview answers from Google, but I wish they had been more honest about it.
