Phone Interview first Asked about overall experience in IT Asked about strengths and weaknesses Asked about desired salary Then face to face interview on location Asked to write down some work procedures Told about their company background

1. Applied online and got an email from Receptionist for a suitable date/time for initial screening. 2. Initial screening - She gave a brief on what their company does, people, culture etc. Asked the basic q's - tell me about yourself and some basic testing q's - what is test case, test plan etc. She note all my answers and as she is not technical on testing...I had to literally spell her my answers :( 3. Then got an email for an in-person interview schedule at their Reston office 4. In-Person Interview - Sr. Hr introduces herself and walkthrough'ed the company benefits and handover the printout of it. - Introduces to Test manager and interviewing panel (another 2 guys) - He is too cool and asked technical q's(only manual they do not yet have automation) . I think I did pretty well and answered everything as I have more experience and skill set than what they are looking for. Everyone seems impressed and it ended well. - Sr. Hr said they will get back to me in a day or 2. 5. I didn't expect a call or email from them for a week So sent an email and they replied I wasn't selected Overall, it seems they are a small company and they are just doing the things in still old fashioned ways and not ready to use the cutting edge tools and technologies. Anyway's good for me as I got a deserving opportunity at a very big company.
