Entretien
I applied to a job online. After one call, I was told I should be considered for a different job. I had a tech screen and then had a virtual onsite with 5 people, none of whom were the manager for this role. I am not sure there was a manager for this role. In the process I talked to 3 different recruiters.
There was no diversity in my loop. I am not sure if any women work in a technical capacity at this company.
Overall, I think the interview was a waste of time. At the rejection, I was given the feedback that I was not given an offer because of I lacked experience with X. Experience with X was listed as a plus and not a requirement in the job ad. I never said I had experience with X.

4 rounds. The process began with a phone screen. Next was a behavioral round with a MD / senior vice president. Then there was a technical SQL round. The process finished off with 2 behavioral rounds. After the final rounds they said they would be in touch soon with a decision. I was ghosted however.

There were back to back rounds nearly 7-8. And at the end they say everything is good, you are from earth we are looking for people from Mars. None of the interviewer has knowledge on what to expect from the candidate. It's totally hectic and time wasting attempt.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Compass (Seattle, WA) en avr. 2021
Entretien
Recruiter Phone screen, 1 technical screen from peer, Virtual on site - 5 rounds of 45 min each. Due to covid the interview was online.
The recruiter was professional, went through the basics of the position asked some basic questions about me,
the Technical screen was quite easy. It was basic SQL questions involving 1) a Simple select * FROM X, WHERE
2) Was a subquery/CTE essentially, for the people from Q1, join to another table and do a simple where clause
The onsite experience left a lot to be desired
Round 1) Prod Manager - was 10 min late, had one "Tell me about a situation" question , couldn't answer my questions, was clearly not prepared for the interview at all. The 45 min felt really long.
2) Technical interview : It was good, there were couple of real life scenarios and how we would solve them.
Rounds 3 and 4 were with Product Managers as well, they had a series of "Tell me about a situation" questions, nothing technical, barely engaging.
Round 5 - Hiring manager- Went through the position in detail. Patiently answered my questions.
