Submitted resume and essential information. Recruiter in HR contacted me. Interviewed with recruiter for 1 hour. I was told an interview with the hiring manager would be set up in the next 2-3 weeks. I heard back over 2 months later saying they were scheduling interviews, if I was still interested. I went ahead and scheduled with them. The hiring manager scheduled a 30 min interview. My experience with the hiring manager left me with 3 potential impressions: - She is inexperienced with hiring processes and had no idea how much time to schedule, what questions to ask, or how to foster conversation. - She made up her mind prior to the interview that I was not going to be hired, likely based on educational pedigree bias. - She has developed rude behaviors, perhaps derived from the professional company she keeps, illusions of grandeur instilled by prior successes, or long held cultural beliefs.
