Applied online and got a phone call from HR dept in NJ. Until then it was great experience.
He was very nice and asked me general questions about me. (Mostly about work background). He informed me that he will hand over my information and if the hiring manager wants to see me then he will contact me. 2 days later, hiring manager emailed me to visit his office and I was absolutely happy and we met next day at his office.
Guess what. He was busy and ferreted around my resume among a pile of other candidates' resumes so I just gave him my resume I brought and he asked me what position I applied and he started examining my resume from that moment and asked what I did at my previous company and he just cut my answer after 3 seconds. And he just read my resume and answered himself like "Oh, you did this and this. Okay". And asked me again "Are you good at computer?" "Did you graduate school in US?" and then he stopped questioning and he told me he is done and he said he just wanted me to see before the group interview that's why he invited me for an interview. At that time I felt like I was being thrown out. He just rushed and led me to the elevator and he will contact me within 1 week but he never contact me.
I was very unpleasant experience. Hiring manager should exam candidates' resume at least once before you invite for face to face interview. Remember!!! candidates' times are also very precious. If you invite, then you could at least show a little effort for candidates!!!!.
I wasted my time 2hours and money.

My first interview was a phone screening with HR in New Jersey. I was then contacted by thr managing broker and met him face to face. He had a great personality and the interview was more like an informal date (without the flirting). We got on quite well and a second interview was immediately set up with the Regional Office Administrator. That was more intimidating for sure because she was emotionless and very matter of fact.
