First there was an aptitude round. 60 questions 60 minutes. Questions on verbal ability, quants and logical reasoning. The verbal section was easy and the quants was average. Time management is important in cognizant aptitude. Then around 250 candidates were shortlisted amongst 1000+ candidtaes. The next round was technical. Questions mainly on c,c++ an dbms. They may also ask questions on software engineering and operating systems. Questions were mainly on datastructures,pointer concepts,overloading,software development life cycle, and basic concepts of shell script. The next round was hr. Easy round and very general questions. They will check your communication skills nothing else.

Smooth interview process as well as it was very interesting with ample feedback at the end. I enjoyed the conversation a lot and coverted the interview and accepted the offer.
