J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez CodeSignal en juin 2026
Entretien
The process started off great! A recruiter reached out, and we had a great conversation, following which he sent me along to the hiring manager, who was eager to connect once I completed an AI assessment. Some of the first things requested were age, photo ID, and a photo of you with your ID. Then you were required to share your entire computer screen for the process, opening up all kinds of personal security concerns. I removed myself from consideration at this point and politely explained the concerns with the legality of it (it's 100% NOT legal to ask age, ID, etc in California. Considering the role has been open since February, I agree with what other posters have said; this seems like a method for training an AI model and not an actual job to be filled.

Question 1
Tell me about how you have managed projects with competing deadlines.
Engaging and virtual. Talent Acquisition was very efficient. Communication very effective. Overall a streamlined process that I would recommend. Multiple interview rounds with different teams, which was interesting. Not many canned questions, mostly it was related to the role and my specific background.

Streamlined and informative with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and validate information. Assessment was not easy but gave me a taste of the amazingness of the product and honestly proved I could do the job.
