I had an interview for a research scientist position at IBM. The job posting was more for a data scientist position with generic job descriptions. I was reached out by automated emails for online assessment, pre-recorded video assessment and an english language assessment. No recruiters and no prep information. I was given a HackerRack link to solve two advance level problems in 60 mins. First problem was a medium-to-difficult DSA problem and one was a SQL problem. I finished the DSA problem in 40ish mins but couldn't finish the SQL problem in time. Saw my status change to "no longer proceeding" on the candidate page and got an automated email saying the same thing a couple of days later.
