Very strange and unprofessional process. After applying, instead of reaching out via email to schedule a proper call, the recruiter made an unsolicited WhatsApp call without prior notice. Attempts to schedule a conversation were met with long delays, and there was never a clearly agreed time slot—just a vague “we’ll play it by ear” approach. I found this highly unconventional, disorganised, and intrusive, especially for what is supposed to be a professional recruitment process. It created unnecessary friction and left a poor first impression of how communication and planning might operate internally. Naturally, there was no follow ups about where I was in the process for weeks until I heard from one of their senior managers themselves about the status of my application.
