Several interviews, spanning peers, people ops and managers including both fit and technical interviews. There were exercises, but they were short and relevant. The interviews were scheduled pretty rapidly, and the overall process was quick.

There was a technical assessment that consisted of a hypothetical pull request and peer review. You were then asked to describe the comments you would give the author, and why.

Extremely clear process, spelled out in the first email:
Tech screening, HR call, take home, tech interview, 2 more interviews with director/VP.
Everyone I met was very nice, left time for questions, etc.
Tech screening was easy. I didn't make it past the take home, which was pretty simple but I guess didn't meet their criteria.

Entretien
Applied online. Application had a few open ended technical questions and asked about why I was interested in the position. Was given phone screen with a few technical questions and a hypothetical code review. Received a decline email the next day. I was surprised to get an immediate reject since I felt I had done ok.

We appreciate your feedback and are so sorry you had a negative experience. We strive to be prompt with our communication and get back to candidates as soon as we have made a decision. We have a grading rubric for our technical calls so the decision is usually objectively made after the call.
