J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez ClickUp (San Francisco, CA) en août 2021

Standard phone interview with recruiter, who spent a majority of the call selling you on the company (nice dude though). Next day was a zoom call with one of the hiring managers, who was pretty matter of fact and somewhat unexpressive. First 20 mins we went over my background. I gave examples on some of the technical challenges I faced and how I was able to overcome them. Some basic behavioral questions and how you would fit into the team. Not a very fluid conversation at all, he kept interjecting to ask questions and to basically dissect my design decisions and my approaches. The final 40 mins was a coding challenge on HackerRank, which he couldn't even explain properly. The scope of the problem was changed 2-3 times, while it was being explained and while I was in the middle of coding (smh). Just a comical interview process from beginning to end.

Recruiter screen was straightforward. Talked about my work and how it relates to Clickup. Technical screen will be up next followed by more rounds. System design, project discussion and culture fit is expected.
The amount of work they expect you to do for an interview is absolutely ridiculous. The pre-work absurd and not worth 2% match. Don’t waste your time, you don’t want to work along side such cold and arrogant.
