      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Citizens (Mountain Top, PA)

      Entretien

I was interviewed by the Hazleton Pennsylvania bank manager, the Mountain Top Pennsylvania bank manager and their regional manager. The interview in my opinion went really well. I was told that I would be a better fit as a banker not as a teller. However there currently wasn't a banker position available, but if I did get the job as a teller I could always move up later on. I interviewed for the job on a Wednesday, was told that by the following Tuesday I would have an answer by the recruitment personnel. I never received a phone call as to the outcome of my interview. After 9 days I sent an email to my recruiter inquiring about the outcome of my interview. I never received a response nor a phone call. I would have never thought that this company would be very unprofessional! If you do go for an interview for this company good luck trying to get an answer.

      Entretien

After applying to Citizens, I received an invitation for an AI interview with a service called HireVue. The "interview" consisted of timed "games" that are essentially exercises taken from an ADHD assessment, and a series of more standard interview questions that you must answer on video and which will be scored by their AI system. I received an automated rejection email a couple days later. I have since received multiple emails from Citizens inviting me to apply for the same job they already rejected me from before ever speaking to a human being, except I can't even do that because it simply tells me I've already applied and been rejected from that role.

The do not actually interview candidates: They rely on HireVue AI, and you are required to opt-in for the AI interview process. Basically, you play a few AI-created "games" and then later answer interview questions by recording yourself as the AI platform "rates" you. I have prior banking and retail experience, so I think I agree with others that their hiring process using AI seems flawed and felt overall uncomfortable since I was not able to 'not' proceed with the application process unless I agree to having AI rate and approve me.
