Phone screening was about 30 minutes, then two in-person interviews roughly 45 minutes each. after the third interview, a recruiter called me on the third week to ask me for proof of my previous employer salary. I asked the recruiter, what if I don't want to provide that info, she replied then we can't move forward with the recruiting process. I felt that they didn't believe my salary info, plus they needed to see my previous income so they can determine the new income. I really didn't want to provide my previous salary because I felt I should be evaluated on my work history, personality and intellectual level which all can be known from various assessment and interview questions. After I faxed them the W-2, Citizens had offered me the role.

Entretien
I scheduled a virtual interview with a recruiter. However, she states that they're restrictedly ONLY hiring exactly from the job description says 3-5 retail management experience with the Branch Manager title, but she didn't want to waste my time, so she decided to offer me a banker position. I first appreciated her time, at the same time I also explained my experiences and achievement has definitely a matched for the job description, and I already been a banker for 5 years, and now 3 years + as Assistant Branch Manager as second to go person, I basically doing the same as BM, and assisted the branch archived goals exceeded the regional standard, I don't think it make sense to backward to become a banker and start everything over. The whole interview was great conversation and smooth, just because the title made me can't move forward, I think it's a bit unfair by turned down like this.

Recruiter was absolutely amazing. Made me feel very welcome and explained the entire process perfectly. She herself was newer and even gave me her personal experience with the onboarding. So excited to start!

The interview process was very smooth and transparent. Recruiter was very engaged in following up and setting expectation.
I was impressed that even though my assigned recruiter was out of office; she ensure a colleague would follow up to keep me updated on the status of my hiring process.
